Geelong (def) v Collingwood at the MCG

Geelong, now 10 straight wins this season after defeating Collingwood at the MCG by 16 points, in front of a crowd of over 85,000 people.

I don’t think I’ve ever been to an AFL game this huge before. It was a great experience, even if we did sit in the nose-bleed section.

I don’t know how I managed to snap this photo. I was just taking a photo of the ground, when the flag was suddenly waved. Worked out quite well.

Absolute pandemonium at Jolimont station after the game. Bek and I decided that it would be a better idea to miss the crowds and go eat some indian food at twofatindians.

Great atmosphere and game to boot. Pressure football, too bad almost 2000 Geelong supporters missed it due to the train strikes. I was in slighty better viewing champ, ground floor. Unfortunately the company wasnt so great, surrounded my Collingwood supporters and members at the Northern goals. Had to brave getting a punch to the back of the head, as I do get a bit vocal as you might know. Wasnt to convinced that I was going to get out alive though. Got a few laughs when I told some collingwood supporter to “Sit down, You IDDIOTT!!” after he gave O’Bree a barrage of insults. Again not my smartest moment though. One day I will have to back up my mouth!! BTW - I think I can spot me and the outlaws in both pics.
